To be honest I can't think of the most important thing this year.I learned different things from different teachers that are all super important.I can't point out one thing I learned this year except.On second thought there is one thing I learned this year.That is to enjoy all the good times because after that their won 't be many times like those fro a while.I learned to enjoy the present and cherish the past.

Budgets important

I think that budgets are important.They keep you out of dept.
They help you manage your money.They give you limits on
how much you can spend on certain things.Budgets are really use ful.

Tagging or Art

This is art and not a tagging.This is sending a powerful message.It isn't in anyway gang related.This is trying to make a change for the better.It is trying to help and not destroy it.This is Art and yet peple call it tagging.

T.V pros and cons

T.V is a big impact in society.For the good and for the worst.T.V can actually teach you many things.I owe most of my knowledge to T.V.I know you must be saying that I must not have a lot of knowledge the.I'm in honors and have straight A's.T.v can also have really bad effects.It can make you a couch potato and can lead to some serious health problems.It can also make you dim witted and give you one of the shortest attention spans ever.It can also cause visual problems

Getting the across

The best way to get my message across is to involve the media.Let them no that we are doing something about the problem.Maybe any one watching the T.V will then help the cause.Then maybe with the support of others we can solve the problem.That's why the media is the way to spread your message across.Let people know how you are trying to make a difference.

My solution

My solution would have prevented that from happening.We would have put the two countries apart and in the middle we would put a military all along the border and any Palestinian or Israeli that tried going to the other side would be gunned down and shot.If you wanted to see a friend you would have to file for a permit and you would have to meet in a neutral area.The Area would have places that are considered fun.Like Amusement parks restaurants and other things like this.That suicide bomber would have been shot before he would have even made it to The Israelis.

Muslim steryotypes

Their are are many stereotype's against Muslims.They are not true.They say that Muslims hate America.That isn't true some Muslims actually like really like America.They say that they all drive cabs and work in seven eleven.Not true their are some really successful people who are Muslims.The last and worst one all Muslims are terrorists.Not true not all Muslims are terrorist that is the worst assumption you can make about a culture.

Metaphor

" The Conflict is like a hurricane"

This conflict has caused a lot of damage and destruction.Just like a hurricane.Like a hurricane the rebuilding process will take time.Peace is a long ways ahead.The worst isn't over and peace is years away.Yet after it is all said and done when the hurricane has past and you have rebuild yourself there will be peace.

When do people become a nation

I think that a group of people becomes a nation when they take over the land.When they establish their own government.When they form a military.When they have a working economy.Thats when a group of people become a nation.This true because in the beginning the .S wasn't a nation until they did what I mentioned.

Impact program

I have participated in every project the impact program has done.Well almost every project. I have help design and build the border.I helped with the first mural we did.I came to car wash to help wash cars.This program got me doing things I never would have done before.This helped me see the other side of the story.

I think the impact program has had a decent Impact on the school.This really helps the community.This can help you see how good it is to help others.To do community service is a privilege.It shouldn't be a drag to do it.This is a way to help yourself.To make change.This is why the Impact program should keep running.

Government Branches

The Branches of the Government are the Executive Branch the Legislative and The Judicial Branch.The legislative branch is the one with congress and the representatives.They are the ones that pass the law that the executive branch proposes.The judicial branch assures that the laws passed are legal.They also handle cases where people want a law changed or discontinued.The executive branch controls the law enforcement and our militia.

I think that the executive has all the control.They make the laws even if congress gets to decide if they pass them.Yet the President gets to declare war.They have mostly all the control.The executive branch is probably the most important.Which is why we have a huge election to choose who is the leader of that branch.They could send this country into war.They are in control.

Primary winner

I think that its going to be a close race this year.I think that Barack Obama will win for the democrat side.He seems to be the popular candidate.Yet Hilary is neck and neck with Obama.She could win it right under his nose.She has the potential to win.I just hope she isn't like Bill Clinton.

I think that for the Republican side McCain would win. He is in the lead.He seems to be the favorite for the republican side.He should take the victory.All though Huckabee could steal it.He could still pull it off.Those are the only two left in the race.

Vote or Die?

People refuse to vote for many reasons.They might think they can't make a difference with their vote.They might say i don't make the decision the electoral college makes the choice.They might not listen to my vote. Or they don't like any of the candidates.They don't like the way we elect our president.Or they just don't care about it.

When I'm 18 i will vote because I can make a difference.If you don't exercise your right to vote no one will care about what you think.Voting is a way for your opinion to be heard.Sure your vote might not make a difference.Yes your vote might be worthless.You never know what it can come down to.Vote or die?

Whats makes it hard is that some candidates are really good liars.They know how to throw a bluff.You have to go on what you think.You can never change liars.You can never make people not lie.You have to learn to read people to find out when a candidate is lying.

The danger in picking candidates on personality is that there point of view on a subject could be horrible.There are people with great personality that are really ignorant.You could be the candidate with greatest personality,but if you don't know what your doing your going to put this country in the hole.You should pick Candidates by both there personality and issues.There should be a balance.

1.Immigration-Democrat-I'm on the democrat side because i believe any one can stay here as long as they follow the rules and can hold a job.

2.Health care-Democrat-I'm on the democrat side because I think health care should be free some people can't afford to pay for it.

3.Jobs-Democrat-I think the government should make more jobs instead of lowering taxes.

4.Enviornment-Democrat-I'm on the democrats side because if its not our job to take care of the planet then who's is it.

DEMOCRATS V.S REPUBLICANS

Democrats and Republicans are almost complete opposites.They have opposite views on almost every issue.For example one of the hottest topics now is the issue of immigration.Most of the republicans want all immigrants gone from this country.
Democrats on the other hand believe on letting the immigrants stay here with a workers visa.Republicans are in favor of the war in Iraq.Democrats are against the war.
I consider myself to be more of a democrat.I believe on letting immigrants stay here with a workers visa.I'm not for abortion,but its you choice.I'm all for equal opportunity.Republicans are all about buisness I'm not a big fan of big corporation. I'm all for taking care of our problems before we take care of the world.

The governments role

The government has two roles.Two make the laws we follow and have to abide by.To fix Americas problems.Our government has not done a good job of that.They are more concerned about money.They don't care that America is in the hole trillions and trillions of dollars.They don't make enough laws to take care of Americas poor.They waste money on useless things like the war.

What would be my issue

I would campaign on the issue of immigration. I know that there are people who would vote for me.There are immigrants who got amnesty.So they would say i don't want people to suffer like me.I would also talk on the issue of global warming.I would take cars who let the most Co2 in the air of the market.I would get the hybrid which gets I think about 100 miles to the gallon.

How to get elected?

A president gets elected by winning the electoral college.Before they even get there they have to get singed by the states.Then you ave to win the primaries.This is when you vote to see who represents the political parties.Once they have a Representative for the democrats and republicans we can have the election to see who is president.Thats how you become president.

A person who would have a difficult time running for president is an average Joe.Like the normal working man.He won't have enough money.Doesn't know anything on politics.You must also dress like you have some class.You can't go out there in T-shirt and jeans.That makes you look bad.If you aren't popular you won't win.You have to have some sort of fame.

What you need to get elected

It takes a lot of things two get elected. Some of these things are good.Others are dirty and deceiving.The good things are you are honest.You do what is right.Don't lie and do what you promised to do for this country.Do not do what people tell you do.Go on what you feel is right.Do not let any one corrupt you or change your character.
The wrong things would be to start rumors about the other candidate.To slander his platform and personal character.Try to rig the election and win by cheating.Lie to your voters and feed them lies.Don't do what you said you would do.Lie to the whole U.S.A.Thats how to win an election the right way or the wrong way.

Movie interviews

I think we should interview people who have suffered from abuse. It will be very difficult to get anybody willing to tell us about there experiences.We can also interview people who have witnessed child abuse. Ask them what they did after seeing it happen.The last and hardest interview would be get people who have abused children.
The really hard thing will be trying to get the truth.People will be embarrassed for what they have done or had done to them will lie.They will say they didn't get hit that hard or that he didn't hit him at all.They will tell the truth of camera and lie on camera.I don't blame them I wouldn't want the world to know i was abused.That would be humiliating.

Tacos words for next president.

I suggest that you do what you said you where going to do.Follow your original platform.Don't get elected by lying. Also don't get corrupted with money.Focus on making this country better.Act better then our current president.

I also want to say to the president.To give amnesty to all the illegals here.They just want a job.Kicking them out has made the real estate market crash.Also find a way to get us out of Iraq. Bring our troops home.

My goals for third and fourth quarter.

I want to get my grade up in every class I want to learn to stop procrastinating my work.

To get my chapter for the writing team done.

I will get my grade up in every class by studying harder and paying more attention in class.I will also have to cut back on the video games. Do my homework right after practice. Take advantage of free time in class. Do as much extra credit as possible.
